Currently, Gingerbread Fun and a Freebie!

Vampire Diaries...I'm waiting to see how it plays out without Elena this season.
Amazon.Has.Everything. I love it!
My to-do list is growing. I have a lot of my shopping done(Amazon!) but there is still much to do.
I need a chef. And a chef who buys the food too. (Grocery shopping is on the to-do list...)
Wrapping...haven't started. We use comics for most of the kid's gifts, so that makes it very inexpensive.
Faux tree. I just can't deal with a real tree. The needles!

I love Gingerbread! I've been searching for some new things this year...

The cutest Gingerbread Crafts from KidsActivitiesBlog.com! Click Here

Or...an alternative to using gingerbread...go HERE. (I just found this site: www.worthpinning.com. Go and check it out!)

Aren't these Gingerbread men the preschoolers made super cute? I could see doing this as a glyph with the kindergartners.

I really like the frosting on these houses. It adds that perfect touch!

Currently July

BB...I am just meeting the "houseguests". So far I think the guys are pretty awesome.

Summer...is just wonderful. The weather could be nicer, but it's not too hot.

The yard...aka the jungle. It is a never ending job. The weeds we pulled last week are already back.
There's a tree growing into my son's window. I have two plants that are still in the plastic pots I bought them in. But the mosquitoes are baddddd. So....maybe later. Or tomorrow.

Lunch...No idea. The grocery store is another item on the list of things to do.

Needing...getting dressed takes longer these days. {*summer}

I love to organize. But I have no motivation for it today. (see BB above)   :)

Check out more HERE.

November Currently

My son has a battery operated change counter. Where the change rollssss before it is counted. He loves it. We don't. :)

This was a long week at work. We had a short week with conferences last week. We STILL have another full week until Thanksgiving!

Movies- What is even out right now? I read Gone Girl and so I want to see that. Hopefully it won't be too busy. But I am a "person magnet" at the theater. People always sit in front of me. It's like a curse. Even when the theater is practically empty.... So let's hope today will not be one of those days...

The Microwave Dilemma....buy a new microwave(over the stove).  Or  bring up the counter microwave that-is-practically-new-but-never-used from the basement.   Then discuss the sizes, looks, colors etc of the items. Repeat. Yep, the microwave dilemma continues.

Laundry...I might actually have everything in this house washed by tonight. :)

Newspaper. I like turning the pages. And I recycle it.... It's just something I do. :)

Jimmy Hoffa...this reminds me of why I usually have the remote. Well, sometimes I do... Summer...I love everything about it. Except the bugs.... Peanut butter Reese's bars. These are very yummy. I might have two. They were no-bake too! ...I cannot believe that some schools start in August. That just seems WRONG.... Reminder: Don't forget to see the previous post {HERE} for a HUGE giveaway!

January Currently

Okay I am early with my Currently, to make up for December!

 Dora is on...Vacation continues...
We have gotten over 6 inches of snow! Love it! (Too bad it's not a snow day though...)
I need to renew my teaching certificate. I remember when I started teaching, it was $4 in Ohio and $125 here. I see that they have increased their price in Ohio now. What do you pay for yours?
The year of the electronics...my older son has become fascinated with all techie things. We finally bought him his own tablet. (sigh) They are growing up!

Currently...December

It's nearly 2014!
I almost missed the December currently! Go {Here} for the fun!

December, we hardly knew ye!
Mickey Mouse Clubhouse is almost frowned upon, now that Paw Patrol has been discovered by the little one!
Yes, it is snowing! Big pretty white flakes! Love that!
New Year's at home is great. Surrounded by family. :)
Hmmmm...do I say I want ice cream every month?
Needing...I don't need to take down decorations. I might leave them up for another week...
We take the kids to see lights every year, even just in our own  neighborhood.
I'm so late for the currently, I missed it for this month.(I knew that would happen eventually...)
But I'm linking this post to Simply Kinder's Teaching Blog Round-Up!

Happy New Year!

Currently November... YUMMY

My youngest loves Mickey's Clubhouse. We watch a lot of Busytown too. I kind of like the music.
The leaves haven't really fallen here, so it is still very colorful!
Laundry...the never-ending task...
Travelling would be great. We are thinking of going somewhere this month.
Halloween decorations? I feel like I just put them out!
And OH MY!  Go here and copy this recipe!

* http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/brown-familys-favorite-pumpkin-pie/detail.aspx
This is the BEST pumpkin pie! I make it with a graham cracker crust though. It is way better than the traditional crust. It has a walnut/brown sugar topping. It's a family favorite for Thanksgiving!

Currently...October!

It's Currently time! {Here's} the link for more fun at Farley's page!

Listening: General Hospital has been so good lately!

Loving: We were trick or treating today... Love October!

Thinking: We need some pumpkins to help decorate the yard/porch.

Wanting: Salsa and Chips, but we don't have any salsa!

Needing: To wash windows. We had some new windows installed and they make the old ones look very dirty in comparison!

Trick or Treat: Coconut is my favorite!

Currently....September

I'm linking up with Farley this month at http://ohboy3rdgrade.blogspot.com/2013/09/currently-september.html.  Yes believe it or not, before September 30th.

I watch tv by listening most of the time. :) We really DVR everything and then watch it while we multi-task.... I think I need to lose a few pounds before the wedding, and the salad goes nicely with my quest to eat more veggies. (But we won't talk about the ranch or the shredded cheese. And I need croutons too.)

Halloween is coming! LOVE it!

Currently....August

It's the August Currently!

I missed the July Currently. And I think I get the award for the last link-up for the June currently...oops.

My son is obsessed with the Minion mini movie that we got from our local library. If you have kids under five, definitely check it out! "Banana" is the most played around here.

The B2S calendar cards are just soooo cute. I am going to spend some time on TPT later deciding which one to add to my wishlist!
