I'm joining Ashley's (Fierce in Fourth) First Day Jitters Blog Hop!
Why is there always a dream where I can't find my classroom?
Or the dream where the teacher who transferred away is now teaching in my room?
This year, there is much more than usual to be jittery about!
Oh my, where to start:
1. I have a new principal. And she is new to being a principal. What will her expectations be?
2. I have moved to a new school. With all new rules...like, do you take your own paper to the copy machine or is it already there? All those little things...
3. I have no idea if I will know a single student. I am hoping that since I am only across town, I will know at least ONE family.
Hopefully, this year will seem smooth after the First Day...or week...or month!

Well if you are at a school with a new principal the rules are going to be new for everyone. Just hope that your principal is considerate of the job you do and has had elementary experience. My principal has a high school background and was an AP at a middle school before coming to my elementary and doesn't quite understand a lot of what an elementary teacher's job entails. Other than that take deep breaths and carry on!
Just became your newest follower and can't wait to hear how your year goes. Pass by my blog when you get a chance!

My school got a new new principal a couple of years ago and he only had middle school experience. Elementary is so different and it's been a learning experience for everyone, but like Vicky posted everyone is in the same situation. Make the best of it and you'll do fine. :) I found you through the blog hop and would love to have you hop on over and check out mine when you get a chance.
